About Susan

White Plains Therapist Susan Schrott - Mindfulness, Mediation, Yoga, Eating Disorder Specialist

I have dedicated my life’s work to empowering adults, parents, and children facing a wide range of mental health challenges to live healthy and joyful lives. With over thirty years of experience, I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. In my work, I emphasize safe, compassionate, and effective care.

My mission is to support you in your quest for joy, living to your full potential, and defining and living true to your values. In our work together, we build skills, courage, and resilience to overcome your pain and suffering. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). My training in yoga and meditation complements these therapies and provides a holistic approach to our work together.

I am committed to working closely and collaboratively with physicians, psychiatrists, nutritionists, and your personal health care providers.
